2009 Kitchen Remodel

The original Corian countertops on the surrounding areas were replaced with granite.

We replaced the refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and hood. In doing some of the replacements we also replaced cabinets. The Sub-Zero refrigerator was installed with matching panels which blend in with the surrounding cabinets. The mirrors and glass shelves at the dry bar were also replaced with matching cabinets. The dishwasher doesn't get replaced until Phase 3.

The demolition and replacement of the central island started in early January 2010. The first step was the removal of the existing island. The new central island was custom built and will have a new dishwasher, sink, fawcet, and disposal. The longest part of this process is the fabrication of the granite counter top, which takes approximately 3 weeks.
